Now I learn American crafts as many as possible.

My friend Judie taught me Rug Braiding. It's popular American craft.
It was my first time to try rug making.
She showed me how to make round rug.
It is fun craft to do!

Then I made oval rug for homework.
It was wonderful lesson. Thank you very much, Judi!

　

I learned weaving at Spinning Room in Altamont.

It was beginner class. I leaned plain weaving and Log Cabin pattern.

In Japan, to learn weaving means to be professional. There are many people who weave as a hobby in USA.
It is more opened to people. I think this is good thing here.
