My friends from BeauKnits held Good-Bye Party for my husband and me. It was at Red Robin in Latham. It's American restaurant!
Total 15 friends of mine came for us. Some of my friends, who didn't come said to me that they wanted to come, but they can't. I was gald their kind words.

Today, we shipped our buggages to Japan. There were 30 boxes! It will take more than 45 days for shipping from east coast in U.S.A. to Japan. When we came to here, we sent only 7 boxes from Japan to here. But now, it increases more than 4 times.
The main reason is ... Knitting. There were many projects such as sweaters, Teddy bears, bags, puppets and so on. A person who came to pick up the boxes asked me what that sound was. He worried about if it is anything easy to break. The souce of the sound was a bell. It was the bell put on the puppets.

I knitted this bag from this pattern.
This pattern recommend to use bolky yarn.
But I knitted double strands worsted wool yarn.
I like this design. It's heart shape and pretty.
To make bags, I think I don't have to pay attention about gauge so much as when I knit sweater or something that I wear.
So, I try many kinds of yarn usingone pattern.
From one pattern, I enjoy many variation.

I knitted this Teddy Bear from this pattern.
This Teddy Bear is made of baby blanket yarn.
So, after I stuffed to him, I found couple of places with whole, and I can see inside of stuffing.
To hide whole with stuffing, he wears sweater.
Now, he is a good looking Teddy Bear!

Debb took me to the Beaver Watching in Altamont.
I had never sew a beaver. I had thought a woodchuck as a beaver. Because from cartoons, woodchuck's face looks like beaver's. Debb explained me how beavers cut down trees and built their house. It was so interesting!

I am knitting hairband. Knitted hairband is nicely fit to my head.
I used Berroco summer yarn!
